RIP Etta James

Sad to hear about Etta's passing. She was a legendary performer and a force to be reckoned with, pressing through many struggles and difficulties in her life. Today's female pop stars owe part of their career success to women like Etta who did it the hard way.

This article is discouraging to say the least. We have to stop buying into this garbage! On the bright side, organizations like Beauty Redefined have made it their mission to change perceptions of beauty that are so harmful to all of us. Hooray for them and many others who are pushing back against such ridiculous standards.
